I have not seen it yet, but last night he pulled a 1/1 cut auto of Cy Young, Ty Cobb and Tris Speaker.

OK. So, my brother is telling the truth. I got to touch the case that the card is in today. I scanned it for my dad. Here it is in all its glory. Both sides, since you probably won't believe us anyway.

I guess I just don't like it when someone pulls an excellent card AND THEN decides to join a card site to show it off...
Alot of times, it ends up on eBay within a week any way.
My feelings are, if you want to show off your excellent things on a site, you should at least visit it when you don't pull an excellent card and/or be a tenured member of the site to share the glory of a pull like that. Coming out of nowhere seems a little arrogant to me.
I'm guessing you're new to a whole bunch of card sites now that your father pulled the card?
Welcome to Topps. Hopefully, we'll see your future posts and insights after the 1/1 pull glory dies down...
This is my take on this. Like me or hate me for writing this, these are my feelings on posts like this, and I'll stick to them...

Crazy pull, but I have to stick up for Eamon! This happens alot. People come in hear claiming they hit som HUGE hit, and never can produce proof. Eamon may have jumped the gun, but 99% of the time he would have been right.
Congrats on the card! Tell your old man I would give him 5 grand for it. |
